I will post lots of pictures soon...next week....maybe.
Shane's team is off to the state tournament in Yakima and Kendall and I are leaving tomorrow morning with my parents. We hope they come home with a trophy!
Shane's team won the bi-district tournament on February 20th that gave them an automatic birth to state. It was such a releif they won that night because that means we could have our baby girl sometime last week without basketball interfering because they didn't play again until February 27th.
Shane's team played Saturday night and won the tri-district championship. His team got to cut down the nets and he made sure to come home and tie a piece of the net on Kendall's crib. Kassi, Taylor, Julie, and Kyler came and hung out with me Saturday night while everyone went to the basketball game. It was so nice of them to bring dinner and keep me company and they were excited to spend time with Kendall.
We are doing good, getting a pretty good amount of sleep. Shane came down with a really bad chest cold the day after Kendall was born so as of last Friday he quit holding her and helping me at night because the last thing we want is for her to get sick. He is getting better and after Saturday life will slow down and we can start to enjoy our time as a family of 3 together! Kendall is a very good baby and I can't imagine our lives without her. She actually seems to love baths but hates her diapers being changed that is almost the only time she cries. I think she already has Shane wrapped around her finger.
