Rice Cereal

We tried rice cereal and oatmeal a couple times but she is not really understanding the swallowing. The Dr. gave the go ahead at her 4 month appointment so we have tried twice. I am not really pressing too much because she sure isn't starving.

10 year class reunion

Saturday night was my 10 year high school class reunion at the silver reef casino. We got some pictures with Chris and Julie before our night out. It was Kendall's first night staying at my Mom and Dad's without us.

3rd Lake Padden Triathlon

Shane competed in his 3rd annual Lake Padden Triathlon. He got his best time so far though he said he felt the most out of shape in the last 3 years. I couldn't tell you his exact time and place but maybe he will post later and keep you updated.

4 Months Old

Kendall had her 4 month check-up. Luckily we hadn't been to the Dr. in between her 2 and 4 month appointments because she has been a healthy baby. She weighed 16 lbs. 7 oz. and was 27 inches.

High Chair and Bumbo

Thanks to Grandma, when Mom and Dad were at work my Mom put the high chair together for Kendall to try out. She does great sitting in it. We are going to give the rice cereal a try.

Remembering Heidi

My friend from college passed away over Memorial Day weekend. Julie and I took the babies and headed over to Yakima for the service. I have so many great memories of Heidi, especially during our freshman year of college from our wild times just hanging out in the dorms, to walking to every class together, or her trying to teach Julie and I how to roll our R's (something we could never get). I am glad we made it over to the service and got some answers as well as having closure even though I still have a hard time believing she is gone.
