A day at Grandma's

On Tuesday we went down to my parents for the afternoon since Shane was gone to Las Vegas. Checking out the flowers and sitting in the cooled down hot tub. She loved the hot tub this time.

College Friends Chelan Trip 2010

4 families and 8 kids (Kendall was the only girl). This year we got 2 condos because our group is getting a little to big for a house. We had a pool at our place which was nice because we weren't right on the water. Kendall thought the pool was just a little too cold but she tolerated at times. Here are some pictures though I didn't take very many this year. Thanks Jules for these first 2 pictures of Kendall.

Shane needs to explain this picture...I was told to take it but not sure why.

Chelan Man Tri-athlon

Shane, Dave, and Care all participated in the Chelan man tri-athlon on July 18th. It was Care and Dave's 1st tri-athlon and they did awesome. We brought Shane's extra wet suit for Care because Shane wanted to try out Wade's she was very relieved when I let her know we had one since she was so scared of the swimming part. She swam like she had done it before!

Great form!

We were laughing at Dave during the exchange when he put his helmet on before his shirt, then tried to get his shirt on over his helmet (sorry Dave!).

All smiles when they were done!

Kendall's 1st camping trip

We went to Lake Chelan for a week and spent the first 3 nights camping with my parents, Kyle, Michelle, Erin, and Roger. Kendall and I slept in the motor home and did fine not sleeping in a crib. The last night Care and Dave stayed with us before we checked into our condos for the rest of our time in Chelan.

Having some of Grandpa's beer (just kidding, she likes the feel of the bottle).

She slept anywhere. This is her on the boat inside her jogger.

Picking Berries

What Whatcom county is best for...and our new house is surrounded by raspberries and blueberries!

Crew and Kendall

The Price Family came over to watch the World Cup Championship on Sunday morning. Crew started being his typical self and making Kendall laugh. We wanted to get a video so we told Crew that if he kept making her laugh her hiccups would go away. I think the adults were almost laughing as hard as Kendall. He will be such a good helper on vacation.

This past week

Some pictures of Kevin's wedding that Shane was in. It was a beautiul day and we decided to take Kendall instead of getting a babysitter and she did great.

A self taken picture of Mom and Kendall before we left for the wedding.

On Tuesday we decided to head up to Grandeville Island in Canada for the afternoon to check out the public market and and have lunch. Kendall did great in the car ride as well as was happy in her Bob checking everything out.

Lounging in the orange chair at the cabin watching baby Einstein. One last day at the lake before we leave for vacation.

Love this weather!

Shane was gone at basketball camp this week so I headed out to the lake a couple days. Kassi and the kids joined us one day and Taylor entertained Kendall since she wasn't very mobile with her sprained ankle.

4th of July

A low key day as a family, we spent at the lake sitting around the campfire since it felt like March. Good thing I didn't buy one of the cute red, white, and blue dresses I wanted for Kendall since she wouldn't have got to wear because it was so cold. I made sure to put her in some patriotic colors. We were home by 7:00 and in bed by 10:00 listening to the neighbors fireworks. Shane left early the next morning for basketball camp. Maybe next year Kendall will be at an age where she will enjoy some fireworks.
