Hike at Mt. Baker
On Labor Day we took full advantage of our last day of summer and went up to Mt. Baker and took a hike to table top mountain. Kendall did the entire short hike without being carried and and Zak did great in the ergo. It couldn't have gone 100% smooth, Kendall started getting car sick this summer so a little stop to throw up and then we were on our way.

Kendall starts Pre-school
I am having a hard time getting motivated to get our blog updated since school has begun life is quite a bit busier!
Kendall started pre-school at Laurel Baptist Church in mid-September. She goes to school on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. She is loving it; her teachers, her friends, her artwork...we are so glad we made the decision to send her this year and not just next year. It is right door to the high school and close to my school so we are able to pick her up from time to time and be a part of her schooling. Luckily my parents and Shane's parents are around to get her to and from 90% of the time. Shane got to bring her on the 1st day and he made sure to get the front porch pictures. As you can see she was pretty proud.

The Summer has been good to us!
Here are a bunch of random pictures from our summer. Days at the lake or nights down at the river. Now, back to work this week and I think we are all ready for a routine once again. The kids will be starting at a new daycare 2 days a week and Kendall will be starting pre-school.

Walla Walla
The final stop on our road trip was in Walla Walla to visit The Pemberton Family. One of the days we headed to Jubilee Lake in Oregon and watched the boys fish and let the kids play in the water and with the fish. It was beautiful and a great couple days visiting the Pemberton's. Carolyn was about 37 weeks pregnant so we are still waiting the arrival of her little one to join her family of boys!
