18 months old

Kendall was 18 months old, August 23rd and she is full of it these days. Temper tantrums, pouting, being a great mother to her baby doll and new kitty, doesn't like to share, repeats almost anything we say (we better watch it), and loves to be tickled and chased by Dad!
Stats:
28 lbs, 3 oz.
33 inches

This is Jake our new kitten. I went for a run last Sunday, came home and told Shane there is a free kitten down the road, without hesitation, he said "go get it". I went back down and picked it up just in time for Kendall to be waking up from her nap to a new kitty. We still have our other cat Tui who is anti-social and doesn't come around Kendall much so we had been talking about getting a kitten for Kendall and then it would grow up being used to kids. So far Jake is the perfect cat, loves to go outside so we don't even have to have a litter box.

Kyle & Michelle's Wedding, July 30th

Here are the REAL pictures from the wedding...the professional ones!

Winthrop, Camping, Julie's Wedding, August 13th

We headed over early Saturday morning to get over to Winthrop to be able to enjoy the nice weather and KOA pool. My parents had left the day before to camp in the motorhome. Shane and I's good friend Julie Hathaway was getting married Saturday night. I great weekend, fun wedding, and even though we had just got back from the East Coast on Thursday, we were not quite ready to be done camping after only 1 night.
Here are some pictures of the wedding and Kendall at the campground.

Kendall was a dancing queen at the wedding. I will get a video to post soon.

Boston August 7th-11th

After Bar Harbor, we then went to Boston for the remaining 4 days. Boston is definately one of the most favorite places to visit and I didn't have a problem saying yes to this trip even though it was my 3rd time going. Luckily, there are a ton of parks that we could stop at throughout the day to let Kendall run. I did tell Shane I am done with sight seeing and covering so much mileage in 1 trip until we have older kids. Kendall sure learned that she likes videos on the Ipad and Baby Einstein and we couldn't say either one of those words in front of her by the end of the trip without her throwing a fit because she wanted to watch something.

Almost falling asleep on the duck boat tour.

Bar Harbor, Maine August 1st-6th

The day after Kyle and Michelle's wedding we (Shane, Kendall, and my parents) flew a red eye into Boston and arrived at 6:30am on Monday August 1st. We then drove 4.5 hours to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We had a great trip; rented bikes and a trailer for Kendall and went through the park, went to Cadillac Mountain, took a passenger boat to Winter Harbor, and the best part was watching Kendall in the pool. She now goes under water on her own or tries to jump off the side of the pool, but it is more like a step into the water.

Kendall sleeping when we got to Bar Harbor, she was exhausted from little sleep on the flight and in the car.

Grandpa making fun of one of Kendall's meltdowns. I can't even remember what this was about.

Kyle and Michelle's Wedding, July 30th

A great day, perfect weather, everything came together, and it was so much fun...maybe because we were able to send Kendall home with some babysitters later in the night. I am so happy Kyle found someone like Michelle, I love my new sister!
I hope to get some better pictures of the wedding day soon. Thanks Jules, for some of these.

Kendall had a very rough day, but finally loosened up later in the night. She never made it down the aisle with the other girls.
