Tailgating

We went down to UW with my parents last Saturday for the Husky football game and tailgated in the motor home. Shane and everyone went to the game while Kendall and I walked across the street and did some shopping at my favorite place University Village.

3rd outfit of the day, sporting her skinny jeans for the 1st time. I think I put them on her 3 times this week. I love them!

Husky Football

We celebrated the 1st home Husky Football game at our place with lots of friends and LOTS of kids! I didn't take very many pictures but here are a few. We were also getting our yard hydroseeded that day. A completed house picture to come soon (we finally have grass!)

6 months

Kendall didn't have her 6th month check up until September 7th. She weighed 20 lbs 8 oz and was 29 1/2 inches long. The day before her 6 month check-up (Labor Day) we had to take her into the on-call Dr. because she had an infection on her nose and upper lip. I thought it was a cold sore but after talking to my Mom she thought it could be inpentigo (spelling?). Well, she was right and we got some cream and it cleared up in a couple days, though we held her out of daycare that Wednesday because it is contagious.

Her nose and lip when it was infected.

Her new 4 wheeler we got for free.

Oyster Race 2010

Shane, Dominic and Beav did the Oyster Race in Seattle last weekend for the 2nd year in a row (a race similar to the show the Amazing Race) but you do it in 1 day. It took them about 6.5 hours to complete and they traveled about 44 miles around Seattle on bike and foot.

Ready to go before the race!

Shane and Dominic trying to solve a puzzle, meanwhile Beav is on a bus in Seattle with a bag over his head. When Dominic and Shane solved the puzzle they radio to the bus to let Beav off. Then the 3 had to find each other somewhere on the streets of Seattle.

The finish!

Crabbing Outing

We decided to make the most of our last few days of summer so we went crabbing with my Mom and Dad in their small ski boat...but it works for crabbing. Kendall slept through most of her 1st crabbing experience.

Lazy Days of Summer

When Shane and I start looking at each other in the mornings and ask "What are we going to do today?" (with blank looks) we know it is time to get back to school. I have loved every minute of summer and having all this time with Kendall but it will be fun getting back to school. I love the fall and seeing the kids after summer.

Painting is done!

When we got back from Costa Rica my Mom, Shane's Dad, and Shane spent the day finishing up the last peaks of the house and got the trim all finished. Now onto the yard...we should have a grass in a couple weeks!

The only way the ladder would reach the peak.

Kendall loves dogs. These are like the neighborhood dogs. Everyone that stops by for the 1st time asks if they are our dogs because they greet anyone that comes and walks them to the front door.
