Cousin Drew

Drew came to visit from Idaho for over a week. She stayed at Grammy and Papa's house and our house the last night. We got to spend lots of time with her and Kendall loved it! She was sad when Drew had to leave and kept asking for her. The last night Uncle Tristan came with Dana and Clare so Kendall had friends to play with and was excited they spent the night. Next time maybe she will be a little older to have a sleep over in the bonus room with them.

The Fair

Kendall got to go to the fair 2 days this year, but next year we will just limit it to 1. I had planned to go with Julie on Monday while Shane was in Costa Rica thinking he wouldn't care to miss it but after hearing how good of a time she had we decided to go back again Saturday with Shane. Saturday she did a bunch of rides but didn't look like she enjoyed them but when she got done with each one she said she wanted to go again, as you can see in the roller coaster picture she looks like she is about to cry. She loved all the animals too.

4 wheeling with Papa Riding bike in Cresent bar with Grandma. Mom got tired easily pulling her so Grandma gave Mom a break. The park with the Price boys. Pool time in the backyard. Her 1st pony ride at the skagit fair. She doesn't look like she is enjoying it, but she loved it and talked about it for days / weeks after, she would still tell you about it if you asked her.

Crescent Bar

We spent August 1st-5th in Crescent Bar with my three of our favorite families! The Chase's, Pemberton's, and Price's; all of us girls lived together in college and used to go to Chelan every summer for a week but as our families have gotten bigger we can't rent a house that fit all of us. This was the perfect spot to meet up. The Pemberton's and us rented a trailer and camped and the other 2 families had condos. Kendall was a little outnumbered with boys, 8 boys to 2 girls.

Eastern Washington Trip 1

We have taken 2 five day trips to Eastern Washington in the matter of 13 days. We left July 26th to Yakima for a coaching clinic and then from there went to Clarkston to visit Shane's brother and girlfriend. We had a good time and the driving wasn't all that bad because it was broken up. We came home Monday July 30th, then left again for Crescent Bar on Wednesday. We stayed at Tristan's girlfriends Dana's house. She has a pool in her backyard so it was nice the 90-100 degree weather. We also went out on the Snake River in her boat. Kendall went in a river for the 1st time, she jumped to Shane off the back of the boat.

Woodland Park Zoo

We headed down to the Woodland Park zoo a couple weeks ago for another summer field trip with Kendall. Two or three weeks later she is still telling random people about what she saw at the "petting zoo" though we didn't pet any animals. I think the bears or the otters were her favorite.
