Not always but every once in a while she will find her thumb, she still takes a binky too.

Ski to Sea

We ventured down to the river for ski to sea to watch the canoes. It is about a 15 minute trek through some woods from our house. We hope to make this a yearly thing when we are around for Memorial Day weekend. Next year we will be a little more prepared. Shane drank an entire jug of Memosis waiting for us to get down there. He got there about 9:30 and the rest of us showed up about 10:30.





We didn't realize through the clouds the sun was that strong. Later Sunday night Kendall's face was all red and we couldn't figure out why...she got her 1st sun burn :(



Brodes found the cookies of course.

2 Month pictures, 1 month late

Kendall is now 3 months old and for some reason (probably the move) I forgot to post some of her 2 months pictures.

Mom's back to work

I went back to work 2 weeks ago. There were lots of tears the 1st week and it was a little hectic because it was the week we were moving. Last week was easier and this week is about the same. I only have 4 weeks left and 2 of those weeks are 4 day weeks. I can't complain about my job because I have all summer with my baby girl! Shane is home every other day with her taking paternity leave, he loves his days home with her and getting all the things done around the house. I love to come home and see what outfit he has picked out for her for the day. Usually it is 1 of her 4 Nike onsies with some pants.

On her 3 month old birthday she rolled over for the 1st time from her tummy to back (2 times in a row) and she also had the cutest laugh ever when Dad was kissing her (it was a big belly laugh) but we couldn't get her to do it again.

We are in!

Here are some final pictures of the house, in no certain order. We are moved in just need some interior touches and there is still lots of work to be done outside between the yard (that will be slowly getting done over the next year) and painting the outside (which will be done after school gets out).
